Louis Special Edition - The Tech-Air System Race-e R2 looks like the Street-e but is a race track airbag through and through.

In order for your vest to be ready for use, our colleagues need your personal customer data, as well as the chassis number of the airbag vest (to be found in the back label of the vest C+7 digits), in order to be able to activate it at Alpinestars.

• Comprehensive inflatable upper body protection for back, shoulder, kidney area, chest and upper abdomen.
• Electronic sensors are firmly and unobtrusively built into the system structure (in the shoulder area), which means that the vest is completely self-contained and can consequently be worn with different compatible jackets.
• Outer material Mix of solid and durable mesh textile and polyester fabric on shoulders and torso for a tight and secure fit that is close to the body but at the same time allows the rider complete freedom of movement.
• Removable and height adjustable elastic strap with Velcro adjustment, for optimal fit adjustment.
• Full length black 3D mesh lining for optimized ventilation and breathability.
• Color coded YKK zippers allow for quick and secure attachment of the vest to the outer jacket/combi.
• The Tech-Air's airbag control unit (ACU) is built into the solid polymer back protector, which features an ergonomic panel design that follows the natural contours of the back with a body-hugging shape.
• The Tech-Air's airbag control unit is sealed inside the vest to ensure its all-weather performance, while the vest and individual parts are proven to maintain function between -10°C and +50°C.
• The Tech-Air's airbag control unit includes connection leads (two for the Street-e variant and one for the Race-e variant) that allow the rider to quickly and easily couple to the outer jacket. The airbag control unit complies with European standard ECE R10 04, which ensures the electromagnetic nature and stability of the device.
• The Tech-Air uses an integrated certified lithium-ion battery with 25 hours of use and 6 hours of charging time. Micro USB charger (included) provides convenient system charging: 1 hour of charging equals 4 hours of driving coverage.
• Argon cartridge pumps are certified to the ISO 14451 standard, which means that they are only triggered when the electronic unit activates them. It also certifies that the cartridges are safe to handle, assemble and transport.
• An external service record is managed through a specially set up data portal.
• The data portal also allows downloading of the road version for the Race Vest
• Tech-Air meets the requirements of category II and is certified according to the PPE directive 89/686/EEC with the version EN1621-2:2014, which guarantees the impact protection performance from 25 milliseconds to 5 seconds
• Proven functional integrity at -10°C and +50°C to ensure system application in all weather conditions.
• The design and manufacture of the Tech-Air is certified according to the Pyrotechnics Directive 2007/23/EC, which guarantees the assembly according to the pyrotechnic handling and safety regulations. It means that the system can be transported in a car, ship, train or plane.
