Although many high-power flashlights can operate CR123A batteries, they will never deliver their full performance or burn time. The answer is to use high-performance Li-ion batteries, such as the ARB-series from Fenix, with inbuilt protection, 3.6 volt in various capacities. A special charger is required for recharging this type of battery, see "Compatible Products".
