SMART BRAKE MODULE
ENGINE BRAKING LIGHT

SMART BRAKE MODULE ENGINE BRAKING LIGHT
When you have a motorcycle in front of you, it's sometimes difficult to tell whether the rider is actually using their brakes as they approach a traffic light or an obstacle, or just slowing down by engine braking. And this is a situation in which a rear-end collision could occur. With this in mind, the engineers who developed the *Smart Turn System* have now come up with the Smart Brake Module.
It's an excellent way to make sure you get seen, and it's quick and easy to install.
How does it work?
The module has built-in sensors which make the brake light flash or come on with a steady light (you can choose the setting) when your motorcycle slows down by at least 4.1 km/h per second (either by throttling back or by engine braking). The module is universal and suitable for motorcycles with 6 V or 12 V electrical system. It can be used with all LED and halogen brake lights.
SBM is certified street-legal.
The *Smart Brake Module* contains an intelligent system which does not interfere with your brake light's normal operation!
Important: To avoid a fault warning from the CAN bus technology used on BMW motorcycles (from 2006), we recommend connecting the power supply to the free accessory slot on the CAN bus. This is located under the seat.
By the way, if you sell your motorcycle, the SBM is quick and easy to remove again, so you can return the motorcycle to its original state. You can then install your SBM on your new machine, and it will work perfectly again.

Turn signals that self-cancel after turning are standard on cars. But for motorcycle riders they're something they could only dream of- until now! The Smart Turn System (or STS for short) from the Slovenian start-up firm Movalyse has made this technology a reality. Movalyse succeeded in precisely defining each motorcycle manoeuvre by means of special, highly sensitive movement sensors and a special algorithm. This was the basis for the STS. The position of the motorcycle following a turn causes the turn signals to self-cancel. That means the rider is able to concentrate on the road ahead and not worry about manually cancelling their turn signals each time. And other road-users are not confused by motorcycle riders who forget to cancel their signals. This makes riding in traffic safer and also considerably more relaxed.
